How I Work

As a Catholic therapist of Asian descent, I bring a bicultural perspective and spiritual sensitivity to my practice, offering compassionate counseling to individuals from various backgrounds. I'm proud to be recognized as one of the best LGBTQ therapists and therapist of color, providing a safe and affirming space for gay, lesbian, transgender, and queer individuals seeking support and understanding.

Creating a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space is paramount.

In this therapeutic space, you're encouraged to be yourself, assured of encountering genuine understanding and acceptance. My approach centers on active listening and empathetic engagement, without imposing my own assumptions. Together, we'll probe beyond mere symptoms to unearth underlying narratives, emotional wounds, and unaddressed needs. We aim to clarify feelings or thoughts that might initially appear confusing or overwhelming. Ultimately, the goal is to cultivate and strengthen a robust sense of self that is assertive, confident, and secure.
